NSS UNIT OF VEERAYATAN INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY PROGRAM AT SHREE SHYAMJI KRISHNAVARMA MEMORIAL/KRANTHI TEERTH –MANDVI/KUTCH

The NSS unit of VEERAYATAN INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY has organized a malaria eradication awareness program at nagalapar village of mandvi tq,kutch.

The unit consisting of 50 volunteers, NSS co-ordinator Mr. Sohansinh Vaghela and the principal of college Prof. Dr. B. G. Chaudhari visited the village. The sarpanch arranged the program by making a assembly of the villagers. The student volunteers explained the etiology of malaria, dengue and other communicable diseases along with steps to be taken to prevent it.

Later the nss unit visited the shyamji Krishna verma memorial in maska village ,15 kms away from the college.here the volunteers got a good oppurtinity tu study the life and works of shyamji Krishna verma.there was a video presentation on the great revolutionary who was boen here.

IMPORTANCE OF KRANTHI THEERTH.

THE MEMORIAL WAS DEDICATED TO THE NATION ON 13TH DECEMBER,2010 BY THE HON.CHIEF MINISTER OF GUJARAT SHRI NARENDRA MODIJI.

THE MEMORIALS OBJECTIVE IS TO PAY TRIBUTE TO THE CONTRIBUTION OF SHYAMJI KRISHNA VERMA AND ALSO TO EDUCATE THE YOUNG GENERATION ABOUT THESE GREAT INDIANS WHO SACRIFICED EVERY THING FOR THE COUNTRY'S FREEDOM.
